Vanuata goes on show in Australia
The Vanuatu Tourism Australian roadshows have wrapped up for more than 400 agents in three cities.
Malcolm Pryor , Air Vanuatu’s Australian Manager, said that the Australian market represents more than 65 percent of Vanuatu’s visitor arrivals.
Eighteen operators showcased the latest news and product updates from Vanuatu at The Hotel Windsor in Melbourne, Dockside in Sydney and The Mercure Hotel in Brisbane.
Sarah Anderson, Australian director for the Vanuatu Tourism Office Australia, said that it was encouraging to see strong numbers at the roadshows..
“Vanuatu benefits from strong support from both the industry operators and agents and the road show was an important step in the continuing promotion of the destination,” she said.
The Melbourne road show coincided with Air Vanuatu’s reintroduced direct flights between Melbourne and Port Vila, this week.
