VESTAS: mosaic of Europe sustainable tourism
The enormously wide range of nominations includes a mosaic of sustainable tourism enterprises in Europe from tiny B&B’s to whole destinations. All demonstrating that tourism is rapidly moving into the green economy at every level.
All of the nominated initiatives will be shown both on a special Destinet Atlas of European Excellence.
14 European countries are represented in the VESTA nominations.

All the nominations will be featured at the ceremony at ITB on Friday 11th March in Hall 4.

Although nominations for the main categories are now closed, VESTAS will still accept nominations for the two special categories – the ‘Rusty Nail’ award for unsustainable tourism and the special award for ‘Peace through Tourism’
