Vietjet has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Air India to partner on marketing and operation of joint air services between India and Vietnam.
Signed by vice president of Vietjet Air, Dinh Viet Phuong and Air India director of commercial, Pankaj Srivastava, the partnership will begin with cooperation on the Ho Chi Minh City-Delhi route.
The two carriers will collaborate on distribution, training and tourism cross-promotion.
"We hope that Air India’s aviation experience and capabilities will help Vietjet in better access to India – a potential market with a young and dynamic population. The cooperation is also expected to contribute positively to a higher development of partnership in economy, trade and tourism between Vietnam and India," said Phuong.
