Vietnam Airlines launching nonstop Milan flights
Vietnam Airlines has announced its nine European route with its first flights to Italy.
The airline will launch Milan flights from 1 July 2025 on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
It will fly three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from Hanoi.
Vietnam Airlines has also outlined plans to introduce the Ho Chi Minh City to Milan route after 2025.
Vietnam’s flag carrier is the only airline operating between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Paris, Frankfurt, and London.
This October, Munich will become the most recent European destination to join the carrier’s network.
Vietnam is Italy’s largest trading partner in the ASEAN, while Italy ranked as Vietnam’s fourth largest trading partner within the EU.
As far as tourism is concerned, Vietnam welcomed 81,000 tourists from Italy last year with 37,800 travellers coming from Milan.
