Vietnam welcomes first quarantine-free international travellers
Vietnam is back on the travel map. Vietnam Airlines flight landed in Da Nang with the first international quarantine-free tourists for months. The flight was carrying a group of travellers from Seoul, South Korea.
It included transit passengers from multiple countries including the US, the UK and Australia. It part of a trial program for fully-vaccinated tour groups.
As well as Da Nang, international flights are permitted to Phu Quoc, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam and Quang Ninh.
To board the Vietnam-bound flight, each passenger must have a vaccine passport, a negative Covid-19 test result.
