Virgin Atlantic appoints new commercial director
Virgin Atlantic Airways today announced the appointment of Willy Boulter as director, commercial planning and strategy.
Reporting to Chief Operating Officer Lyell Strambi, Mr Boulter will be responsible for strategy, planning, revenue management and pricing, commercial systems and regional country operations. He replaces Mr Conrad Clifford.
Mr Boulter previously worked with Cathay Pacific and, more recently, with South African Airways. During his time at South African Airways time, he held various positions including regional management, corporate planning, alliances, network and revenue management.
Welcoming the appointment, Mr Strambi said: “Atlantic said: “Willy joins Virgin Atlantic at an exciting time in our development this summer with the delivery of the A340-600 for which Virgin Atlantic are launch customer.”
