Virgin Atlantic is set to restart Shanghai flights for the summer.
It re-establishes business and leisure connections between the UK and China from 1 May 2023
The move follows a relaxation in travel restrictions as borders fully reopened.
Shanghai is Virgin Atlantic’s final route to be reinstated.
Virgin Atlantic’s Shanghai flights will operate on Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
It offers three-class service; Upper Class, Premium and Economy.
Juha Jarvinen, CCO, said; “The return of our Shanghai services has been a long-time coming and I’m delighted it’s finally a reality.”
Shanghai is also a hub to the airline’s new SkyTeam partner, China Eastern.
