Virgin Australia touts free flights and points to get vaccinated
In an effort to improve Australia’s sluggish vaccination drive, Virgin Australia is offering a free Business Class flights incentive for staff and one million Velocity Frequent Flyer points for customers.
It unveiled the VA-X & Win scheme, which will give away a range of incentives to encourage people to get vaccinated. However, it doesn’t yet know when the scheme will officially launch. It will start when all Australians are eligible for a jab. At the moment only those in priority groups and aged 40 and over are eligible.
Virgin says it expects the scheme to start sometime in 2021.
