Virgin Holidays slashes long haul prices

Friday, 26 Jul, 2004 0

Virgin Holidays has cut peak summer long haul holiday prices by as much as £760 per couple.

As the trade fights against a slump in business and a late booking market, the operator has issued a ‘Megadeals’ brochure with prices starting at £299 for a seven-night Boston fly-drive.

The cuts cover travel between July and November across a range of long haul destinations such as the Caribbean, Florida, US, Dubai, Indian Ocean, Africa and Far East.

Virgin Holidays is offering a week in Florida for £399, seven nights in Barbados for £499, seven nights all inclusive in Sri Lanka from £669, a week in Malaysia from £569 and three night breaks in Boston for £349.
