Pressurisation failure forced a Virgin Little Red flight to make an emergency landing at Edinburgh Airport yesterday.
Flight VS3008 to Heathrow took off from Edinburgh at 5.21pm but had to turn around and return to the airport half an hour later due to the technical problems.
Passengers had to disembark and the airline booked them on later flights to London.
A spokeswoman for Virgin said the flight, operated by Aer Lingus, experienced a technical difficulty on board and the Captain made the decision to turn back and return safely to Edinburgh Airport.
Virgin Atlantic is now looking into the matter and apologised to customers for the delay.
