Virgin will announce further details of its new cruise venture at a press conference in Miami later today.
According to local media, Virgin boss Richard Branson and Virgin Cruises’ new CEO Tom McAlpin will make a major announcement about the ‘next exciting evolution’ of the company.
Details of the announcement have not been revealed, but Virgin told journalists to expected ‘several prominent guests’ at the event at the Perez Art Museum in Miami.
Virgin Group announced last December that it was teaming up with investment firm Bain Capital to form a South Florida-based cruise line.
