Virgin Atlantic Airways is scrapping senior cabin crew and cabin service supervisor positions as part of a shake-up.
The changes are due to come into force in April 2016 and will lead to some redundancies outside of the UK.
In the UK, Virgin will be reducing the number of ranks but will be offering alternative positions to those affected.
"We are currently in discussion with our cabin crew to ensure that they understand the options available and will be fully supporting them through this process," it said.
According to reports in the South China Morning Post, the cost-cutting measures will mean the loss of 50 jobs in Hong Kong, around two-thirds of the total.
A Virgin spokeswoman said: "We have reviewed how we deliver our service and identified that we have complexity in our cabin crew structure.
"As a result, we will be reducing the number of locally based, international cabin crew, on some of our routes."
