Visit Florida reauthorized for another five years

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an authorization for Visit Florida, extending its life as the state –funded destination marketing organization through October 1, 2028.

The proposed budget for 2022-2023 includes $50 million to fund Visit Florida’s marketing efforts. It received $80 million for the current fiscal year, which included $30 million in federal stimulus money.

The agency has been applauded for its efforts to accelerate the tourism recovery during and the Covid-19 pandemic.
