Visualia festival of light, to showcase spectacular audiovisual art – attracts thousands

Fifth Visualia Festival, Pula Croatia – September 21-23, 2017 will present the magic and beauty of new technologies and audiovisual art- plus will impact on city branding..
Pula’s Visualia Festival was held for the first time in 2013, with 3D Mapping, and its programme has increased every year. The following year it also included the "Lighting Giants" – illuminated cranes in Uljanik Shipyard, which now have become the city’s a new attraction and symbol. Last year, Visualia Festival was included in the calendar of international light festivals.
During the three days of Visualia, the festival attracts around 10,000 visitors to enjoy this unique and unforgettable experience.
Visualia Festival is a festival of light and an integral part of the diverse cultural events in the city of Pula. It is organized by the Sonitus Association in cooperation with the Pula Tourist Board and other partners.
The aims of the festival are to promote modern works of audiovisual art and to contribute to the richer offer of cultural capital, emphasising art for the benefit of the community and society.
The fifth year of the festival is proof of its sustainability and its potential. It emphasises Pula’s city branding as a ‘City of Light’.
In its three days, the festival brings together more than 10,000 visitors who love this event and it continues to build a tradition of sustainable presentation of modern works that, through different frameworks and spaces, give visitors unforgettable experiences.
Said the mayor of Pula: "This festival has labeled the city of Pula. We like to attract visitors to our city in the months beyond the main season, which is very important. The decision to re-schedule an event in September will enable even more of our citizens and all the other visitors to come and enjoy the attractions of the Visualia. "
