VLM to increase flights to Luxembourg
VLM Airlines is stepping up its services from London City and Manchester to Luxembourg.
From October 28, it will increase London City to Luxembourg from 18 to 21 non-stop flights each week.
Customers travelling on VLM Airlines’ service from Manchester to Luxembourg, with a brief stop en route at London City, will have the option of 18 services per week compared with the current 12.
Alan Daniels, VLM Airlines’ Regional Manager UK said: “In the first six months of this year, we carried 12% more passengers between London City and Luxembourg, compared with the same period in 2006. Forward sales for this route are also up 24% on 2006.
“Demand for our Manchester to Luxembourg service has grown enormously, with over 400% more passengers travelling with us during the first six months of 2007 than the same period in 2006, many of these being business travellers visiting Luxembourg on day trips.”
