W Hotels Worldwide is hoping to strike the right note with plans to open a new hotel in Nashville.
Marriott International’s music-loving hospitality brand will open W Nashville in the upscale Nashville neighborhood of The Gulch in 2020.
The new building is owned by Twelfth Avenue Realty Holdings and will be designed by the Rockwell Group architect firm.
"Live music, a buzzing culinary and cocktail scene, young artists: There couldn’t be a more perfect city than Nashville for a W Hotel," said Anthony Ingham, global brand leader, W Hotels Worldwide.
"W has always been inextricably linked with music."
It will feature familiar W brand amenities including the WET Deck pool area, comprehensive live music programming, the Living Room hotel lobby concept, along with two upscale dining venues and rooftop bar.
It will have 346 guestrooms including 50 suites.
The brand operates more than 50 hotels and is targeting to have 75 open by the end of 2020.
