Webjet acquires Canadian travel platform
Cash-strapped online platform Trip Ninja has been acquired by Australia online travel giant Webjet. It marks a positive turnaround for Canada-based Trip Ninja which announced it was ceasing operations a few months ago.
Trip Ninja helps travel agents book complicated multi-destination travel itineraries using AI. According to Webjet, Trip Ninja’s technology will play ‘a key role’ in helping it grow share of the international flight market. Trip Ninja will continue to operate independently.
