Flights from Bristol International Airport to The Gambia are relaunching for a second winter.

The first flight for the winter takes off from Bristol on 5 November. Various independent agents in the UK will distribute tickets for the operator, The Gambia Experience.

A flight-only ticket costs £379 for seven nights and £389 for 14 nights. Flights are operated by Air 2000.

The weekly flights depart on Tuesdays at 09:35 and arrive in the Gambian capital, Banjul, just under six hours later. The return flights leaves Africa at 16:30 on Tuesdays. The service ceases on 29 April 2003.

To celebrate the relaunch of the flight, Bristol International is decorating its check-in hall with Gambian batik material and serving fruit cocktails onboard.
