WestJet launching new US flights

Canadian carrier WestJet is expanding again in the US with two new routes.

After recently announcing a new Calgary-Atlanta service, it is also launching Calgary flights to Portland, Oregon, and Austin, Texas.

Both routes are seasonal.

First up is Portland which operates daily from April 29 using Bombardier Q400 turboprops.

Austin flights will operate twice-weekly from May 2 on Boeing 737 jets.
