Canadian airline WestJet has reversed its ticket refund policy for some bookings.
It will allow refunds but domestic fliers are out of luck.
Customers will get refunded only for flights to and from the U.S. or the UK.
Still, it is the first major Canadian carrier to do so.
The updated policy covers US and UK flights between March 1 and June 30.
It does not apply to domestic trips, or to the EU, Mexico or the Caribbean.
"Guests with eligible tickets who booked directly with WestJet will have the option of changing their flights, receiving the full value of their flight in Travel Bank, or accepting a refund to the original form of payment," the airline said.
Despite lawsuits and pressure from consumer groups, the Canadian Transportation Agency said airlines are permitted to offer only credit vouchers given the extraordinary circumstances.
WestJet said the refund policy only applies to flight bookings and not vacation packages.
