Winners of 7th TravelMole Asia Pacific Web Awards announced

The wait is over…

The winners have been announced at the 7th TravelMole Asia Pacific Web Awards winners ceremony, held at ITB Asia in Singapore.

Showcasing the breadth of talent and innovation in the Asia Pacific region, the awards have recognised the best in web, social, mobile and travel technology platforms.

Charles Kao, publisher for the TravelMole Media Group, said the awards are an important honour for nominated companies as they are being recognised by their peers in the travel industry.

"We are delighted to be associated with ITB Asia for this awards ceremony.  We are very pleased these awards continue to make an impact for the shortlisted companies and the winners," he said.

TravelMole asked its subscribers and travel trade members to nominate their favourite website in 12 different categories, which included airline, cruise and online travel agency.

Members were required to assess the merits of any website or mobile platform itself rather than the business it represents.

The TravelMole support team sifted through the nominations, which were then eventually whittled down to a shortlist of three in each category via an independent team of judges, explained head judge, Clement Wong, CEO and founder of BeMyGuest.com.sg.

The three shortlisted sites in each category selected by the judges were put forward for TravelMole’s 65,000 Asia Pacific members and subscribers to vote on.

One vote was permitted per person for each of the 12 categories.

Winners were presented with their awards by each of the category sponsors which included major travel firms Low Cost Travel Group,  Mystifly and JacTravel.
