Two Eurostar trains bound for London were delayed yesterday after a passenger reportedly tried to take a Second World War ‘souvenir’ shell on board.

Police were called to the station on Sunday morning and the Eurostar check-in area was evacuated as a precaution.

Two London-bound trains were delayed for up to thirty minutes.
