Set in a serene, mountainside forest surrounded by mature, Yosemite-native trees and just 10 minutes from the west entrance of Yosemite National Park, this 80-acre camp is within close proximity to natural attractions including Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. In addition, it has a YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) stop directly across from the camp’s entrance, offering car-free access into the national park multiple times each day.

 

Evergreen Lodge

Evergreen Lodge provides the perfect mix of recreation and relaxation. Guests can enjoy spacious cabins in the woods, indoor and outdoor dining, a historic tavern, pool and hot tub, nightly activities and guided recreation activities in the surrounding wilderness. The lodge sits just one mile away from the entrance to Yosemite National Park so it’s the perfect starting point for adventure with all the amenities for relaxation after long day trekking.

 

Firefall Ranch Resort

For a little bit of luxury, the brand new Firefall Ranch Resort is an ideal choice for couples, groups and families. The resort opened in Spring 2024 and sits by the northwest entrance of Yosemite National Park, providing the perfect basecamp. The Ranch has standalone cottages and villas as well as a pool, fine dining restaurant, a tavern and wine room. Guests can access guided excursions to the park, river rafting and snowshoeing, as well as daily wine tastings and nightly fireside s’mores.

 

Lillaskog Lodge

Perfect for a big group or multi-gen family, Lillaskog Lodge sits in the solitude of the Stanislaus National Forest. The seven bedroom, seven bath Lodge, decorated in cool Scandi decor throughout, is located just 11 miles from the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite National Park and its unique position in the mountains gives guests some of the best views in the area. Nearby Groveland is the perfect mountainside town to restock on any necessities or for dining out.

For those seeking a true wilderness experience, Dodge Ridge campgrounds is the perfect spot for campers who prefer to be off grid and in amongst raw nature. Located in true high-country Sierra Nevada, visitors will be camping along the Stanislaus River where they can experience some of the best fishing, hiking and will be rewarded with some of the most scenic views in the region.
