Youtravel.com to host 20 agents to ABTA convention
Twenty top-selling agents are to be hosted by youtravel.com at this year’s travel convention run by ABTA in Tenerife.
The accommodation-only specialist has also teamed up with C&M Recruitment to sponsor the Irish Bar on the first night of the event in November as well as the annual agents versus operators football match.
Sales and marketing director Paul Riches said: “It will be interesting to see how the new revamped convention in November works, we hope that by working with ABTA to ensure that more frontline agents are able to attend, the dynamic will shift away from the ‘old boys’ club’ it’s been described as in the past.
“We hope that it fulfils its aim to be more encompassing of newcomers and younger players in the industry.”
Youtravel is plans to take the group of agents out prior to before the event on November 28-30 to visit the company’s key hotels on the island, before the business sessions begin.
“We’ll also use the fam trip as means of thanking our top performing agents for their support as we reach the end of our first year of trading,” added Riches.
