Advantage boosts business travel with new board appointment
Suzanne Horner, CEO of Gray Dawes Travel, will join Advantage Travel Partnership’s Board next month.
The group said appointment will ensure that business travel remains high on the agenda for Advantage as part of its ongoing commitment to invest in products and services for its business travel members.
Advantage Business Travel has 32 of the 50 leading travel management companies in the UK and represents turnover of over £3.5bn.
Horner is also chair of the executive board at Business Travel Associations (BTA).
She is an active member of Advantage Business Travel through her position as head of Gray Dawes and her appointment ‘reflects increased emphasis Advantage has placed on its business travel investment’.
Advantage chairman Steven Esom said: "Advantage is in a prime position to demonstrate the invigorated business travel proposition available to new and future members following the introduction of divisional leisure and business teams, investment in WIN M&E, as well as extended commercial and innovation resources."
Horner, who last year won the consortia’s Outstanding Achievement Award, added: "As part of my role on the BTA we have over the past year been forming a closer bond between Advantage and the BTA and I am a strong advocate for industry collaboration.
"I have seen first-hand through Gray Dawes membership of Advantage the benefit we receive, and I am honoured to be asked to take a seat on the board and contribute to Advantage’s vision for the future."
