Air France has sacked four employees involved in a violent protest at its head quarters near Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.
The incident happened back in October and ended with two airline executives having their shirts ripped off and one having to climb over a fence to escape.
According to reports, a fifth employee, accused of serious misconduct for assaulting managers, is subject to a separate procedure because he is a union representative.
All five, along with another colleague, are due to appear in court on December 2 to face criminal charges.
Seven people were injured in the violence, which broke out when hundreds of protesters stormed the head office as the airline discussed plans for 2,900 job cuts.
Unions are calling for strike action on November 19, the date of the next Air France works council meeting.
