All change at GTMC
Statesman Travel Group joint managing director Mervyn Williamson has been appointed treasurer of the Guild of Travel Management Companies.
He takes over the role from Travel by Appointment joint chairman and CEO Maurice Veronique.
Former GTMC chairman, Veronique has resigned from the GTMC executive committee as he is relocating to Los Angeles to develop the agency’s US business.
His departure has left a vacant space on the GTMC executive board which, following an election, has been filled by Baxter Hoare managing director Adam White.
Travel by Appointment’s managing director Andy Hampshaw will represent the company in place of Veronique at members events.
