Fabrice BreÌgier has been appointed chief executive officer of Airbus.
He replaces Tom Enders, who has become CEO of Airbus parent EADS.
Based on a proposal by BreÌgier, approved by the EADS Board of Directors, the Airbus Shareholder Committee has also appointed Gunter Butschek as Airbus COO.
