Amadeus makes key cruise appointment
Amadeus has appointed Garry Brown as European cruise line sales manager.
The move comes after Amadeus announced plans last year to develop and expand its existing cruise business in the UK and Europe.
He joins from Opodo Cruise, once part of the Amadeus group of companies, where he headed up the cruise department.
Before he worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Carnival UK, Star Clippers and Sainsbury’s in a range of senior roles.
At Amadeus, his responsibilities will include supporting the company’s cruise line partners, increasing the profile of Amadeus’s newest cruise shopping and booking tool "Cruise Shop" and building stronger relationships with key cruise booking agencies and specialists.
