American Airlines to launch non-stop Phoenix-Memphis flights
American Airlines is to start non-stop services between Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport and Memphis International Airport.
The daily flights, which begin on March 3, will be the only non-stop flights between the two airports.
Flights go on sale on Saturday (November 14).
American said they will be operated as American Eagle flights by its regional airline partner Phoenix-based Mesa Airlines.
Rival Delta cut flights from Sky Harbor to Memphis in 2013 when it stopped using Memphis as a hub.
Allegiant Airlines announced in September it was starting twice-weekly flights to Memphis from Mesa Gateway Airport, near Phoenix, in December.
