American Cruise Lines has announced its newest ship under construction is nearly three months ahead of schedule and is targeting delivery for the first quarter of 2017.
American Cruise Lines says the ocean capable vessel is currently 11 weeks ahead of its planned completion.
The ship, which is being built at Chesapeake Shipbuilding at Salisbury, MD, has not been named yet, and will be able to accommodate 170 guests.
Staterooms will measure more than 350 square feet, each with private balconies and room service staffed by butlers.
The ship will have broader gangways to allow for easier accessibility for disabled passengers and the main dining room has been designed to hold all guests in a single seating.
American Cruise Lines offers more than 35 itineraries on small cruise ships and riverboats throughout the US including the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, New England, the Southeast, and the Mississippi River system.
