American Express GBT makes global appointment
American Express Global Business Travel has appointed Rodolfo Elizondo as vice president and head of global business consulting.
He joins from Sabre, where he worked for five years in a variety of roles, including most recently as VP for Sabre’s consulting division and practice leader for e-commerce, sales and distribution, merchandising and customer experience.
In his new role at American Express GBT, Elizondo will lead the Global Business Consulting Group, working on third party negotiations and partnerships, travel program optimization and outsourced travel management.
He will report to chief global sales officer Christine Ourmieres-Widener.
"Rodolfo’s deep leadership experience with large scale global consulting organizations, air and hotel suppliers and advanced technology innovators is a perfect fit to help our customers take their travel programs to new heights," said Ourmieres-Widener.
