Amex shakes up sales team
American Express Business Travel has appointed two new members of the sales team in Europe.
Javier Mejia is taking up a wider role of vice president sales EMEA and Mark Douglas will move to be head of sales, UK, replacing Tod Lockhard.
Mejia has been with Amex for the past six years, the majority of the time as country manager, business travel in Brazil.
Previously Javier held the role of VP business travel sales for Latin America.
Mejia will report directly to David Herrick and be based in the London and Madrid offices.
Mark Douglas is moving to head up the UK sales team. Mark has worked for the TMC for eight years, of which six years have been in the business travel division. His was previously head of sales, multinational for the UK.
