Analysts are expecting easyJet to post a profit of around £7.5 million when it announces its half-year financial results tomorrow (Tuesday).
The airline had forecast that its result for the six months to March 31, traditionally a loss-making period, would be somewhere between a £5 million loss and a £10 million profit.
Its previous guidance was for a pre-tax loss £10 million to £30 million, but in March the airline said it expected to improve on that thanks to rising passenger numbers, increased revenues and lower fuel prices.
