An ash cloud from a volcano in Chile has caused disruption to flights in South America.

Argentina’s main airport in Buenos Aires has reopened, but according to BBC reports, some smaller airports remain closed.

The Puyehue-Cordon-Caulle volcano range, about 500 miles south of the Chilean capital of Santiago, began erupting on Friday.

Flights to and from Buenos Aires were suspended and some flight were cancelled in and out of Santiago.
