BA appoints new South Asia, Africa sales chief
British Airways has appointed Moran Birger as its new Head of Sales for the South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Effective from the beginning of this month, Birger is based in the airline’s London HQ and is responsible for all sales and commercial functions across the region.
Birger was previously Tokyo based as Head of Sales for Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Japan.
Spending the past decade with BA, he also served as Commercial Agreements Executive – Revenue Management.
"I am excited to take up this opportunity in such important geographical markets," Birger said.
