Bali flights resume after volcanic ash cloud clears
Some flights to Bali have resumed following a series of volcanic eruptions n the island of Flores.
However, it far from back to normal with dozens of international flights still grounded on Thursday.
Bali airport management said more than 100 flights were cancelled between November 13-14.
A change in wind direction has opened up safe flight paths for some services with some flights from Australia resuming.
There was a column of ash more than six miles high after an eruption of Mount Lewotobi.
Qantas and Jetstar resumed some Bali flights due to ‘improved’ conditions.
The volcano has erupted about a dozen times over the past two weeks.
It has killed 10 people and led to the evacuation of thousands.
