Bath Travel joins Travelsavers to exploit global reach
The business travel arm of Bath Travel has joined New York-based consortium Travelsavers in a move to grow its corporate business.
The 70-agency chain, one of the largest independent retailers in the UK, operates its Travel Management Division from four locations with a turnover of more than £16 million.
“We expect that joining Travelsavers Worldwide Independent Network will be an advantageous decision for our company for many reasons,” said Bath Travel’s business travel general manager Alan Field. “We’re confident that its global coverage will assist us with major corporate travel expansions and will lend even more credibility to our existing corporate portfolio.”
Travelsavers said the move gives it a stronger foothold in the UK.
Among the benefits for members is a global emergency assistance service, preferred hotel rates and a policy compliant self-booking tool and web-based management reporting system.
