Billions in air travel credits fast expiring
When airlines started cancelling flights in March 2020 and giving out credits with a whole year validity, there was little panic customers would be unable to use them. Fast-forward a year and the pandemic is still with us and the travel recovery has yet to materialize in any meaningful way.
According to travel management firm TripActions, there are still billions worth of travel credits still unused and their expiry dates are fast approaching.
