Brussels Airlines is to extend its codeshare agreement with bmi on the Brussels-London route as it gears up to join the Star
Alliance.
From October 25, London Heathrow will be offered in codeshare.
The agreement means Brussels Airlines will add seven direct connections to London Heathrow, on top of the two existing daily flights to Gatwick.
Since the start of the summer season, Brussels Airlines and bmi have been co-operating on the routes Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Bristol, Birmingham, London Gatwick,
Manchester and Newcastle.
