Bmi to sponsor Arsenal - TravelMole

Bmi to sponsor Arsenal

Monday, 26 Aug, 2004 0

Bmi has undertaken its largest ever sponsorship deal, to become the official airline of Premiership leaders Arsenal.

The deal, secured for an undisclosed sum, will offer bmi presence on perimeter advertising boards at Arsenal’s home ground, Highbury. Bmi will also have a logo on media backdrops, home match programme advertising and hospitality packages for commercial and promotional use.

The arranagement also means the airline has access to Arsenal’s two million-strong UK supporter database. It plans to use this to launch a series of promotional deals for fan’s air travel to domestic and European fixtures.

Previous sponsorship deals undertaken by Bmi have been restricted to mostly European golf tour events.
