The brand new Rydges Campbelltown Hotel, southwest of Sydney, has announced a wide range of special getaway packages, ahead of its official opening next week.

From just $139 per room, per night, guests can enjoy a relaxing one-night stay in a King Room at the new hotel, including breakfast for two in the property’s restaurant, free car parking and a morning newspaper.

But there are many more options, says Joanne Acott, General Manager of the 4 ½ star property.  “This area offers a magnificent range of outdoor activities, and we have joined forces with several of the key operators to offer some very exciting getaway deals,” said Ms Acott.

“Not only do guests have the opportunity to be among the first to stay at the newest Rydges hotel, and the newest major property in the Sydney region – they also have the chance to live a little by choosing from our selection of excitement packages, which range from horse riding to sky diving and hot air ballooning.”

From just $130 per person, per night, Rydges Campbelltown offers a horse riding and accommodation package, including a one night stay in a King Room, full buffet breakfast and a one hour horse ride at the nearby Sugarloaf ranch.

For those more intent on a round of golf, Rydges Campbelltown is offering one night’s accommodation, breakfast and both green fees and cart fees at Macarthur Grange Golf Course from $150 per person.

If that seems too sedate, why not take the plunge into a Skydiving and Accommodation package, staying for a night in a King Room at Rydges Campbelltown, enjoying breakfast the next morning, then experiencing the thrill of a tandem jump with a professional parachutists at the Sydney Skydiving Centre. This package is priced from $420 per person.

Still in the air, there is a more relaxing way to see the Macarthur region in its totality, and that’s on a 4 ½ hour hot air ballooning expedition, including overnight accommodation in a Standard Room at Rydges Campbelltown, pre-flight tea and coffee, a spectacular flight, a commemorative certificate and champagne breakfast on return. The price per person, twin share is just $374 per night. This package is available from 1-31 August.

All packages are subject to availability, and some conditions apply.

Rydges Campbelltown  will offer four styles of accommodation – 70 King Rooms, 34 Executive Rooms, eight Spa Executive Suites and four Premium Suites, plus two conference rooms, a contemporary restaurant and bar, and its own “micro brewery” opening onto a large alfresco deck and garden area.

Additionally, through close association with the Campbelltown Catholic Club, the new property will offer its guests access to additional facilities including two restaurants, four bars and spacious lounge areas, the Oceana Day Spa, an Aquafit fitness and leisure centre and TAB and Keno facilities.
