Brazilian Hotel Chain selects eRevMax for maximizing online revenue
Bourbon Hotels & Resorts, one of the major hospitality players in Brazil, has signed up eRevMax to increase their online business penetration and revenue. Ten properties will be using RateTiger Channel Management solution for managing inventories across their online distribution mix.
RateTiger Channel Manager will help Bourbon Hotels & Resorts to increase online sales by ensuring real-time room availability across all distribution points through automatic adjustment from pooled inventory. All reservations made on these distribution channels will be captured, and available inventory will automatically be redistributed helping the hotels push even last-room availability thus ensuring maximum occupancy. They will also take advantage of eRevMax’s superior connectivity to leading global and regional distributors including OTAs, Tour Operators and Wholesalers to reach out to new markets as the country gets ready to host millions of tourists for the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
"RateTiger will help Bourbon Hotels & Resorts have complete control over revenue management. They will be able to identify the best producing websites, while also improve the relationship with channels that have a lower commission. They can diversify their product offerings by creating new room-types and packages to cater to needs of a wider audience, which will have a positive impact on hotel bookings," said Jan Murza, VP-Sales, Americas, eRevMax International.
Online travel is growing at over 18% in Brazil, and expected to cross USD 20 billion by 2014, as the leisure tourism sector gets a huge boost from international tourist visiting the country for the FIFA World Cup. By leveraging the flexibility of RateTiger’s solution, Bourbon Hotels can maximize its revenue opportunity and reduce its distribution costs by quickly and efficiently increasing its distribution reach. RateTiger, by eRevMax, is a fully integrated channel management and connectivity solution that entirely automates the connection between hotel inventory systems and distribution channels, regardless of business model, connectivity type or geography.
