Brit dies in Brazil bar shooting

A British man has been shot dead in Brazil after trying to stop a robbery in a bar.

Jason Stevens, 39, is reported to have intervened when two armed men began robbing a bar in Interlagos, São Paulo.

The robbers stole wallets, cards and cash before being approached by Mr Stevens.

They shot him a number of times and then fled.

The victim was a translator who lived in Brazil.
