Budget carrier Scoot launching London flights to Bangkok, Singapore
In a boost for Thailand’s tourism reopening, a new low cost route will connect London Gatwick with the Thai capital Bangkok from December 16.
Singapore-based budget carrier Scoot will launch flights from Singapore Changi Airport to Gatwick via Bangkok aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Scoot is Singapore Airlines’ budget brand. It becomes the only low-cost carrier flying between Bangkok and London.
The three times weekly service will initially only operate for two weeks to meet Christmas travel demand before returning in March 2022.
