Caesars Entertainment has named experienced casino executive Tony Rodio as new CEO.
Romio joins Caesars within the next month from regional gaming operator Affinity Gaming, which has properties in the western and midwestern United States.
Rodio replaces outgoing Caesars CEO Mark Frissora.
Before serving as CEO of Affinity Gaming, Rodio was president and CEO of Tropicana Entertainment Inc, and held various roles at Hollywood Casino and Harrah’s Entertainment.
"Tony brings to Caesars a track record of operational excellence, proven leadership and deep industry knowledge and expertise," said James Hunt, Caesars’ chairman.
Rodio has spent more than four decades in the industry.
