Port Canaveral has welcomed Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Freedom as its new homeport.

Carnival Freedom will offer four- and five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean.

“Freedom’s arrival adds even more quality cruise sailings available from our Port.  We’re very proud of our longstanding partnership with Carnival Cruise Line,” said Capt. John Murray, Port CEO.

The 110,000-ton Conquest-class ship has a guest capacity for approximately 3,000 passengers double-occupancy, and joins three sister ships at Port Canaveral.

They are Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Magic and Carnival Liberty.
