Carnival unveils more details of BOLT roller coaster

Carnival Cruise Line has teased more details of the first roller coaster at sea.
The BOLT coaster offers riders the choice of choosing their own speed.
The company unveiled more details at the IAAPA Conference in Orlando.
BOLT is an all-electric, motorcycle-themed ride along a 800-feet track with various drops and hairpin turns.
It reaches a speed of 40 miles per hour, although riders can set a slower speed.
"Whether guests want to get an adrenaline rush or take it slow and enjoy the breathtaking views, BOLT will have it all," Carnival President Christine Duffy said.
BOLT will debut on the Carnival Mardi Gras which launches in August 2020.
It forms the centerpiece of Ultimate Playground, the ship’s recreation area.
Mardi Gras will also have the largest WaterWorks aqua park in the Carnival fleet.
