Cathay Pacific cancelling more flights as Covid curbs get tougher
Cathay Pacific Airways will cancel more flights next month due to continued Covid restrictions. A ‘new consolidated schedule’ will see several flight cancellations, it said.
Passenger traffic numbers for November remain down 97% compared to 2019 levels. Hong Kong restrictions remain tight due to the spread of the Omicron variant with some of the world’s strictest quarantine rules. It is also strengthening enhanced medical surveillance rules for pilots.
