Cathay Pacific cuts H1 loss
Cathay Pacific narrowed losses in the first six months of 2021, but it still remains in the ‘toughest period’ of its long history. It posted a US$972 million net loss in the first six months of 2021, down from $1.3 billion for the same period last year.
The pandemic will continue to have a ‘severe impact’ on the business at least until international borders reopen across the region and globally, says Chairman Patrick Healy.
